Accessibility Statement
In short: ATARS aims to be usable by everyone, including people who rely on keyboards, screen readers, or reduced-motion settings. Accessibility is an ongoing effort and we welcome your feedback.
1. Our commitment
We want rigorous analytics to be available to as many people as possible. We design with the spirit of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 AA as our reference point.
2. What we do
- Keyboard navigation — interactive elements are reachable and operable by keyboard, with a visible focus ring and a "skip to content" link.
- Reduced motion — if your system requests reduced motion, animations, 3D tilt and the moving background are turned off automatically.
- Colour & contrast — text aims to meet contrast targets, with both light and dark themes.
- Semantic structure — headings, landmarks and descriptive labels help assistive technology.
- Responsive design — the site adapts to phones, tablets and desktops, and supports zoom.
3. Known limitations
Some advanced interactive charts and data tables in the application can be harder to consume with a screen reader. Where possible we provide the same information as downloadable reports (PDF, Word, Excel) and plain tables. We are actively improving these areas.
4. Ongoing work
Accessibility is never "finished". We review new features against our reference guidelines and fix issues as they are found.
5. Feedback
If you hit an accessibility barrier, please tell us through the contact page — describe the page and what you were trying to do, and we will prioritise a fix.
