In short: use ATARS for lawful analytics on data you have the right to use, and do not abuse the software, this website, or the rights of others.
1. Scope
This Acceptable Use Policy applies to everyone who uses the ATARS application and website, and complements our Terms of Service.
2. Use the platform lawfully
- Only upload or analyse data you own or are authorised to use.
- Respect intellectual-property, privacy and data-protection laws that apply to you.
- Do not use ATARS to take decisions that are unlawful, discriminatory or harmful to individuals.
3. Do not abuse the software or website
- No attempts to gain unauthorised access to this website, its hosting, or systems and data you do not own.
- No use of ATARS to create or spread malware, and no denial-of-service activity or scraping that degrades this website or our download hosting.
- No reverse-engineering, decompiling or tampering with the app's compiled code for the purpose of cloning or reselling it, except where such a restriction is prohibited by law.
- No reselling, sublicensing, re-hosting or white-labelling the ATARS app or installer without written permission.
4. Respect others
Do not use ATARS to harass, defame, or infringe the rights of others, or to process data about people without a lawful basis.
5. Downloads
Get ATARS only from this website or our official GitHub releases page, and do not distribute modified installers that claim to be ATARS.
6. Enforcement
We may revoke your license under the EULA, block downloads, or refuse support for serious or repeated violations, and where required, cooperate with lawful requests. Where practical we will give notice and a chance to fix the issue first.
